Page 1 of 2 The learn to glide backwards, it is going to be just like learning to glide forward all over again. First you will need to find a railing of something to grab onto, then rock onto the wheels but pull yourself backwards along the railing, getting used to balancing on your back wheels.
Once you are used to this, try pushing off with your lead foot, but instead of pushing backwards so that you go forward, you need to push in front of you so that you travel backwards. If you feel that your balance is going then just grab onto the railing. Repeat doing this in front of the railing untill you are completely used to pushing off and balancing on your backwheels.
If your totaly used to it then try it on your other foot as well!!!
